Shot over the the summer of 2024 'The Original Chinese Elvis' offers a glimpse into the present day of Paul Elvis Chan. As well as his endeavours to keep The King of Rock and Roll alive through his local performances and giant collection of memorabilia, located in his Folkestone based museum-of-a-home.
The Original Chinese Elvis was the winner of Folkestone Film Making challenge's 'Audience Award' 2025.

Job’s a job is a research initiated explorative artfilm by artist Matt Mahony-Page documenting perspectives and self-initiated endeavours of individuals with contrasting backgrounds across a range of demographics.
In alignment with the subject of ‘work’ this film aims to provide a visual platform to ask one main question:
What constitutes ‘work’?

'Overall, the aim is to develop an expansive, ongoing methodology of performance art with other artists that can help connect and channel testimony and witnessing within past and current/present histories in a responsive non extractive manner.'
Here the group investigated ways we can hold space/s that can offer witnessing outside of dominant political stories and outside of the power structures that reproduce oppression. Also those outside our own psychological defences that disconnect us from one another and ourselves.

Collective procession in aid of local charity. A procession of decorated tractors travel in convoy from Capel, Kent to Folkestone, Kent. Lighting up country roads and streets throughout their journey.

The project culminated with a publication produced by Well Street Projects and an exhibition of photographic & film documentation captured by Matt Mahony-Page.
